Guest Speaker: Dr. Martha Shott, SSU Math & Statistics
Where: SPARQ Center at Piner High School
After Café Activity: 8-9pm
Dr. Shott of Sonoma State University will showcase how simple mathematical principles can be used to develop insight into the behavior of freeway traffic, animal populations, and even player strategy in a game of Monopoly. We'll have the opportunity to physically simulate some of these models in the after cafe, so please plan to stick around after the talk!
