Dr. Girman will share with us his research that generally focuses on using molecular genetic tools to study issues in the evolution, ecology, and/or conservation of animal species. In addition his current projects in the lab provide research information about population-level analyses of steelhead trout, phylogeography of western gulls and genetic impacts of oil spills on western grebes.
